We made a last minute booking at Cahir House Hotel due to poor weather, but were delighted with the warm welcome and friendly staff we met at reception and in the bar. A comfortable stay in a very clean and pleasant environment. Well recommended to anyone.

This hotel is a little gem…. We were visiting in Cahir and decided last minute to stay the night after a beautiful meal served by unreal friendly staff. We were nestled in a cosy corner looking out on to the Sparkling Christmas street lights and I’ve never felt so relaxed in a hotel bar. The decor is traditional with beautiful drape curtains and it was immaculate!! The bar was very popular with locals and the sense of community and laughter fill the air. The bar staff made an extra effort with everyone that walked in and greeted them with a genuine smile. Out room was perfect looking out onto the streets of Cahir. Spotlessly clean and corridors leading to rooms were immaculate. You can see this hotel is truly loved and cared for by its staff and management. The next morning we went down for breakfast and were very impressed that it was a serve to table breakfast in a very beautiful modern setting. We didn’t want to leave! On our departure we checked out with the most friendly receptionist who chatted with us and we expressed how much we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!! Unbelievably priced rooms and food …. But what made it for us was the good old Irish charm of the staff! Rare these days! Congratulations to you all on presenting such a wonderful establishment. Very comfortable stay and lovely breakfast

Easy check in, nice room and shower, great pup area and morning breakfast was yummy.

A beautiful building, very well situated. The breakfast was outstanding and the public areas very comfortable. The room was a good size and well-appointed, although it was a very long way from reception and the front door. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay at Cahir House Hotel.

We had a wonderful time in Cahir. The hotel was great. The people were friendly and the room was large and very quiet. The staff went above and beyond when I forgot my Kindle reading device in the room when we checked out. They messaged me to let me know they had found it, and then arranged to mail it to me in the next city that we travelled to. Thanks Cahir House Hotel for the great service.

This is a lovely property in the heart of Cahir. Pauline and the staff in the hotel and restaurant did a wonderful job in taking care of us. The rooms were warm as Ireland was enjoying hot summer days, but the fan helped a bit. Visitors should understand that this is an older, historic property, and not a shiny new Marriott. And that's exactly why it was perfect for us. Thanks to all!

I'd give Cahir House Hotel 5 stars. We came for a visit without any expectation to see the castle and stay a night and we were very pleasantly surprised with the fantastic location of the hotel and how clean and comfortable our room was. They also seem to have music every Saturday night which is great.

Room was beautiful, extremely comfortable, enjoyed lunch in the bar which was lovely. Great atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful.

From our check in at reception to our departure we we welcomed by all staff. The room was spacious and airy. The evening meal delicious and breakfast was a memorable experience. Compliments to the chef. Everywhere was meticulously clean including the beautiful outdoor facilities. My only difficulty was the absence of a lift facility due to mobility issues. However I fully understand that the building cannot accommodate a lift at present and management are currently seeking a resolution to solving this problem. I can truly say our stay was very pleasant and memorable complimented by a beautifully historic and scenic environment.

Friendly front desk staff and very clean comfortable room. Parking out back was ideal. I would return if I was in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cahir House. The bedroom and en suite were very spacious. We were served a delicious breakfast by very pleasant staff. There were beautiful fresh cut flowers displayed in the communal areas. It is very centrally located in the scenic and historical town. Looking forward to staying there soon again. Highly recommend.
