Cahir Looped Walks - Scaragh Woods
The Scaragh Wood Trails are located just a 30 minute walk outside centre of Cahir, Co Tipperary. The Coillte trail consists of three routes from Green Trail 3.8km, Blue Trail 4.8 km considered moderate to the Red Trail 6.2 km considered strenuous. Scaragh Wood takes in in the most amazing views from Galtees to Knockmealdown depending on trail taken, Explore the native oak trees,discover Lissava portal tomb whilst walking and you night even catch a glimpse of the native red squirrel.
Saint Declan’s Way
Saint Declan’s Way is a 115km pilgrim walking route linking Cashel in County Tipperary with Ardmore in County Waterford. It follows the route that Declan took when going to Cashel to meet Saint Patrick in the fifth century. The walk is split into 5 stages and is to be enjoyed by walks of all levels.
