O’Briens Bar

Our bar, named after Tipperary’s most famous equestrian family, the O’Briens, is the most popular place in town with live music every weekend and friendly bar staff to ensure a great time is had by all.

Though newly decorated, the wood panelling, snugs and lighting give it an old world feel.

There is an additional library bar area with comfortable armchairs for those who prefer a quiet drink.

Afternoon tea

Afternoon TeaTraditional afternoon tea is served daily, accompanied by a selection of sandwiches, freshly baked fruit scones and pastries.

The Bistro

The Bistro in Cahir House Hotel is a firm favourite with locals who seek high quality food at a reasonable price. The menu changes with the seasons and many of the ingredients are organic and most are locally sourced.

Though the Bistro is a busy meeting place, it has a relaxed atmosphere where long lunches and dinners are enjoyed by visitors and locals alike.
